When I was just a little girl, I asked my mother ... 'What will I be?
  Will I be pretty,
    Will I be rich?'
Here's what she said to me..."

And although she didn't actually break into song, the message was there:

"Que Sera, my dear - the future's not our see, whatever will be, will be."
One thing is certain though - she never foresaw alpacas. She, for sure, never said "Some fine day you will discover the joy of raising alpacas."

But, there you are...When people ask me now "How on earth did you get into alpacas? I have actually been known to break into song - Que Sera, Sera - but I'm thinking to myself,
'I've just always been lucky.'

Lulu is a spinner's dream.  She has grown into a beautiful young female - poised and pretty as a picture. Strong and sturdy, Lulu also produces a really nice fleece - very dense with a soft hand, a good medium amplitude crimp and amazing staple length (really!). Her blanket is a low Grade 3 and produces a surprising loft considering the long staple. It spun up into the most gorgeous heathery yarn - bright and soft - a real dream to work with!  She is primarily white with a light fawn tail, and an appaloosa pattern in light fawn along her back.

Lulu unfortunately has vaginal adhesions which make it impossible for her to breed - a tragedy when you consider her fabulous bloodlines.  But our loss could be your gain...she's a sweet girl and we'd like to find her a good home.
