When I was just a little girl, I asked my mother ... 'What will I be?
  Will I be pretty,
    Will I be rich?'
Here's what she said to me..."

And although she didn't actually break into song, the message was there:

"Que Sera, my dear - the future's not our see, whatever will be, will be."
One thing is certain though - she never foresaw alpacas. She, for sure, never said "Some fine day you will discover the joy of raising alpacas."

But, there you are...When people ask me now "How on earth did you get into alpacas? I have actually been known to break into song - Que Sera, Sera - but I'm thinking to myself,
'I've just always been lucky.'

Maggie is the "Grand Dame" of the Que Sera herd.  She is a big girl with a big heart, a gentle and curious nature, and soft dense fleece.  Her sire, PCA Destino, is descended from Pperuvian Camilio and Peruvian Hemingway.  She is a fabulous mother and has given us four beautiful crias.  She is our most reliable production female; breeds easily, births easily...just does her job.  Although she is not producing the staple length she once did, she continues to carry an impressive density and produces a very usable Grade 4 fiber each year.  All of her offspring have impressive staples for which they can thank their mama, three of the four are white carrying the spotting pattern and one is a beautiful creamy solid fawn.

Offspring:

Que Sera Rubens Barrichello - 2005
Que Sera L'il Lulu - 2006
Que Sera Suzie Q - 2007
