When I was just a little girl,

Here's what she said to me..."
And although she didn't actually break
into song, the message was there:
"Que Sera, my
dear - the future's not our see, whatever will be, will be."
One thing is certain though - she never foresaw alpacas. She, for
sure, never said "Some fine day you will discover the joy of raising alpacas."
But, there you are...When people ask me now "How on earth did you get into
alpacas? I have actually been known to break into song -
Que Sera, Sera - but I'm thinking to myself,
'I've just always been
lucky.'

Services |

Managed Breedings - your female will
receive the best care possible. Personal attention is given to
weight management, stress reduction and cria care as well as normal herd
management needs. Please call well in advance of
your girl's breeding window to discuss current biosecurity practices.
Mobile Breedings - off-farm breedings may be available for
farms within 100 miles of Santa Fe provided adequate biosecurity measures
are practiced on your farm.
All Que Sera herdsires are available as visiting studs
during the winter months for farms located in warmer climates. Due to our weather conditions
we do not breed any local females mid-December through April, but we like
for our boys to work year round. If you are interested in hosting
one or more of our herdsires during the winter months, please call or
email. |

I will prepare fleeces for AOBA certified
fleece shows based on the following schedule:

skirted and in your hands or in the mail in 30 days or longer - $35 |

I received the "Best Skirted" award
for one of the fleeces I submitted to the 2006 AOBA Fiber to Fashion
Fleece Show in Reno, Nevada. It was the second fleece I ever skirted.
I am currently working as an apprentice fiber
sorter/grader. In order to complete my apprenticeship I need to sort
200 Huacaya fleeces and 25 Suri fleeces. If you would like to have
your fleeces graded per standard mill practices, I would love to work with
you - either at shearing or out of the bag. Please contact me to
discuss the particulars. |

If scheduling and space permit, I will be happy to show
the offspring of any Que Sera dam or sire at any AOBA certified show I am
attending. Transportation and stalling charges may apply.
For
non-related alpacas; I will transport and show your alpacas for you at any
show I am attending providing I do not have a prior commitment to show
another animal in the same class and trailer space is available. Fees are $30 per day plus a
pro-rata share of the show and/or transportation expenses. |
