Huacaya Alpacas

Finn is a lovely little male with a soft dense fleece. He has that wonderful curiosity we love and just enough mischief to make him entertaining.

We were so disappointed to learn that our beautiful Jeanie is unable to conceive. This girl has fabulous fiber - fine, well organized, consistent and super dense. If you are looking for a white fiber producer - this is your girl.

Golosina is a Huacaya produced by two Suris. She has a fine, extremely bright fleece, very long staple, and great coverage and conformation. We are delighted to have her in our foundation herd. She has produced 4 absolutely scrumptious cria, 1 white female, Avianna, 1 light fawn male, Mr. Migoto, both of whom did well on the show circuit, an eye-popping beige male, El Dorado, currently winning ribbons on the show circuit and our adorable Neville Steeplechase, Aka Mr. personality. Golly's cria are notable for their very correct conformation, a beautiful head style, remarkable presence and very fine, bright fleeces. Our beautiful Layla is one of those alpacas that just loves everybody - two legs, four legs, doesn't matter to her. I was immediately drawn to her the minute we met, but when I opened up that fleece, I just fell in love. Creamy soft, silky bright, amazingly well organized, lovely handle, plush with density, great coverage wrapping up a very well put together female. She has now matured into a lovely young lady - still full of that sweet curiosity that so charmed us as a juvi, but also possessing a poise and presence that still attracts attention.

EARLAH IS NOW RETIRED. One of our best production females, our Earlah came to us from New Hampshire and is a full Peruvian beauty with an exotic grace that turns heads wherever she goes. We found her at the AOBA auction in Salt Lake several years ago and she has really made an impact on our herd. As you can see she's got it all - great coverage and conformation, a gorgeous typey head, and bright bundles of dense crimpy fleece - it spins up beautifully. She gifted us with our Vito's Evita, a three time champion, our bundle of bundles - Pearl Anne (Evie's full sister) - a Jockamo boy, Cameron - a fawn we believe will throw grey when bred to dark like his daddy; and another Vito offsping - a light fawn male this time, Mr. Migoto, with superior fleece characteristics, wonderfully dense and bright as a new penny. Her most recent cria, Tara, is an absolutely fantastic little fawn girl - very much like her big sister, Evie. Earlah is a fabulous mother, easy milker, easy breeder - just a peach all the way around. She has that rarest of qualities - she continues to hold her fineness and fleece character even after all these productive years - a trait we value highly here at Que Sera. We have retired Earlah from the breeding program and are content to grow old with her. She has been an important part of our breeding program, producing several of our champions and we feel she deserves our love and affection and owes us nothing more. Daphne was one of our favorite moms. I could go on and on about how dense she is and how fine she is and how consistent and conformationally correct she is - how she stands out in the herd and all that stuff but I'm not going to...I'm just going to smile every time I look at her and count my lucky stars! She has given us magnificent cria but she has failed to conceive the last 2 times we have bred her. I feel she has aged out of the breeding stock category. She produces a wonderful fleece every year and she is a sweetheart. She would make a good matriarch and fiber producer.

Our Angie is a sweet soul with a dense, crimpy, pure white fleece.

We were pleased enough with this little girl that we changed our plans for her dam's service sire and repeated this breeding! She has her sire's density and phenotypical look and a wonderful serenity and calm presence. She is an exceptional fiber producer, has a fantastic handle...dense, soft...really fun to get your hands into. And beautifully bright! We think she will make a fantastic addition to any herd. Our Belle is just a gorgeous female...very well put together with a lovely handling fleece, nice density, great staple length, consistent character throughout the blanket, bright and very uniform. And on top of all of that, she has a wonderfully sweet nature and has proven to be a great "auntie" to all the crias.

Charlotte is a big beautiful girl with lots of luscious fleece. We do not recommend her as a breeder...she was a dystocia and her only pregnancy resulted in a dystocia, and so, she does not sell with any reproductive warranties.

Tiny Dancer, a beautiful white female sired by Altair's Vito - super bright, amazingly dense with a wonderfully soft hand consisting of a very uniform grade 3 AFD throughout her blanket. Our Dancer is a real delight - dainty, poised and sweet as pie. Her fleece is not only bright and fine, it is also well organized with a wonderfully consistent architecture. We couldn't be more pleased with her and feel she will make a nice addition to any herd.

This is a simply gorgeous female, super dense, very uniform fleece, both in color and micron. She is good natured and sweet to be around.

If you like surprises, this is your girl. She looks dark brown...but she's not!!! Open up that blanket to find the most luscious dark grey fleece. She is also super dense, has lovely brightness, good fleece character, is as cute as a whole pile of bugs, and is sweet, sweet, sweet. We sort of like her...can you tell? Took a second place at the prestigious Great Western Alpaca Show as a juvi. Really looking forward to each year's fleece!!! Currently bred to our gorgeous Rainman...due 9/26/2024

NOT FOR SALE RETIRED FROM BREEDING Vito has a fine bright fleece, butter soft with crimp from his nose to his toes. He has magnificent coverage and a density that is really remarkable. He has stunning conformation and a gorgeous, typey head. He also is a gentle soul with a sweet disposition. Vito uniformly throws his density and well organized lock structure. We have a splendid variety of colors in Vito offspring - he tends to throw the dam's color although not in every case and he throws that teddy bear head about 50% of the time. All of the offspring I have seen have his very correct conformation and "nose to toes" fleece coverage and...well...we just have an awful lot of satisfied customers. Show Record Information Vito had a very successful show career. He never placed lower than third in any halter class he entered and never lower than second in the two national fleece shows he entered. His fleece shorn at 66 months was awarded Color Champion at the prestigious Great Western Alpaca Show in Denver (May, 2010) The judge commented on how well he is holding his micron as well as how well structured and consistent his fleece is. Most recently at the AOA National Fleece Show, he was awarded 19 out of 20 points for fineness and handle on a fleece shorn at eleven and half years! Still winning ribbons after all these years. When using show results as a criteria for choosing stud services or purchases, we strongly encourage you to consider the whole equation. Look at the size of the show, the level of experience of the judge(s), the size of the class in question and the show experience of the other breeders competing in the class. Not all blue ribbons are created equal. We are very proud of Vito's show record, but he has a second place ribbon that I am just as proud of as all of his championship ribbons. Show results should be considered only one tool to be used in judging the quality of any alpaca.

Here's one gorgeous male - Rico has that "IT" you look for in a herdsire - presence, sense of self, dignity and confidence all rolled up in a sweet and even tempered nature. Rico has a beautiful crimp style and great consistency skin to tip and nose to toes. He's extremely fine and super dense, with a really nice staple length, as well as great fleece coverage and very little guard hair. He has a great overall look to him with a solid, compact frame and a perfect bite. Rico's sire is a multiple champion white male, Travesura's Altiplano Treasure. His dam, Eros' Moonshadow, is a beautiful light female who has produced ribbon winners every time, including blues and a color champion.

The offspring of two multi-champion alpacas, Solomon racked up an impressive show record. He has a highly evolved fleece, gorgeously bundled and well organized. He presents with superior fineness and density, a beautiful consistent crimp and a four-square sturdy conformation. He is just a super guy with a quiet presence and a sweet nature.

Rainman is a striking male with great presence, conformation and a uniform soft handling fleece. On farm managed breedings can be arranged but will require boarding fees for your female and reimbursement for pregnancy testing.

Oh, our Bubba is one super guy - bright, dense, super fine, dense, very uniform...did I mention dense...and cute as a whole pile of bugs. He has had a very respectable show career. Can't wait for you to get your hands in that fleece!

We are so proud of Dylan.
