It's a little too big for a cowl but I'm not sure shrug defines it either. but either way it was a really fun project. First I crocheted a open grid piece with the Confetti at Night yarn (alpaca/wool/silk blend) Then I wove the brightly colored "art" yarn through the openings in the grid, gave it a single twist and joined the ends. Embellished with more of the slubs from the art yarn and voila! I go back and forth as to whether I am going to sell it but it deserves a special event for it's debut and I don't party much any more (sigh)
